| Requestor Training |
For some hospitals, Donor Services of Indiana (DSI) makes the request to family members over
the phone. At other hospitals, certain staff members are trained to make the request of the family.
DSI provides training classes for those designated by their hospitals as "designated requestors."
This training gives the designated requestors the skills and tools they need to handle this task
with sensitivity and confidence.
Two levels of classes are offered: Initial training and update training.
Classes are offered regularly throughout the region.
